Gynefam Supra XL is a food supplement specially formulated for pregnant women, rich in vitamins, minerals and essential trace elements for a pregnancy in complete serenity. Its content of Quatrefolic®, an active form of vitamin B9 (folic acid), supports maternal health, while vitamin B12 stimulates energy metabolism. It is also enriched with vitamin D, recommended by the National Academy of Medicine from the start of pregnancy, and iodine for a healthy thyroid. For best benefit, it is advisable to take one capsule daily with a meal.
Gynefam® SUPRA is a food supplement specially designed to meet the specific nutritional needs of women throughout their pregnancy. This dietary supplement is rich in vitamins, trace elements and minerals which play a crucial role in the smooth running of pregnancy.
One of the key properties of Gynéfam® SUPRA is its vitamin B9 content, also known as folic acid or folate, in its Quatrefolic® form. Quatrefolic® is the biologically active version of folic acid and offers better supplementation, benefiting more women. Folic acid supplementation improves maternal health by increasing folate levels. Indeed, a low level of folate in the maternal body can lead to neural tube defects in the fetus. To obtain this beneficial effect, it is recommended to consume 400 μg of folic acid daily, one month before conception and up to three months after.
In addition, Gynéfam® SUPRA contains vitamin B12, which supports normal energy metabolism. The combination of vitamin B12 and vitamin B9 also contributes to the normal metabolism of homocysteine. In addition, it provides the recommended daily dose of vitamin D (800UI/day) from the start of pregnancy, as recommended by the National Academy of Medicine.
Gynefam® SUPRA is also enriched with iodine, a key element for the normal production of thyroid hormones and the proper functioning of the thyroid. It provides the daily dose of iodine recommended by ANSES for pregnant women, ie 200µg from the start of pregnancy.
It is recommended to take one capsule of Gynefam® SUPRA per day, during a meal. This supplement can be used throughout the duration of pregnancy.
