You must not re-sterilize, open or damage the packaging of REVOLAX DEEP lidocaine. Do not inject this product into an implant site. Do not mix REVOLAX DEEP lidocaine with other products before introducing it into your patient's body. Hyaluronic acid products are known to react badly with quaternary ammonium salts such as benzalkonium chloride.
You should also avoid using this product if you suffer from bleeding disorders or if you have been treated with thrombolytic anticoagulants or platelet aggregation inhibitors during previous two weeks. It is recommended that you avoid taking aspirin, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or high doses of vitamin C for the week prior to using this product on a patient.
Patients are advised not to wear makeup for 12 hours after the injection, to avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, UV rays and extreme temperatures during the two weeks following the injection, not to use the product if the needle is blocked.
REVOLAX SUB-Q Lidocaine, which makes part of the REVOLAX line of injectable wrinkle fillers, is the thickest product in the line. This advanced injectable filler corrects deep wrinkles and maintains structure over time. It is recommended for deep to severe facial wrinkles, including nasolabial folds and other facial contours (cheeks, chin or nose).
When using Revolax Sub-Q Lidocaine, it is important to keep the following safety considerations in mind: Do not inject this product into an area where there is an implant; do not mix it with other products before implantation; hyaluronic acid products have known incompatibility with quaternary ammonium salts such as benzalkonium chloride; avoid taking aspirin, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and high doses of vitamin C during the week before the injection; and avoid using thrombolytic anticoagulants or platelet aggregation inhibitors within two weeks prior to administration of this product.
Patients should avoid wearing makeup, prolonged exposure to sunlight and UV rays, and extreme cold and heat during both weeks following the injection. If the needle is stuck, do not increase the pressure on the plunger rod; instead, stop the injection and replace the needle.
